Data deletion
Last updated: October 24, 2026
You control the data QUYP holds about you and about the social media accounts you connected. This page explains how to remove it.
1. Disconnect a social media account
Disconnecting removes the access token, refresh token and account identifiers we stored for that account. Scheduled posts for that account stop immediately.
- Sign in to your dashboard at http://95.179.252.61:8081/QUYP-dash/.
- Open Accounts.
- Find the persona and platform you want to remove and click Disconnect.
You can also revoke QUYP's access from the platform itself (for example Instagram or Threads: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites; TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions; X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions). When a platform revokes access we mark the connection as revoked and no longer use its tokens.
2. Delete a persona and its content
Deleting a persona from the Characters page removes its definition, generated images and videos, prompts and publication plans from the Service. Content already published to a social platform stays on that platform until you delete it there.
3. Delete your entire account
To delete your QUYP account and all data associated with it (profile, personas, media, prompts, calendar, connected accounts and tokens):
- Send an email from the address registered on your account to support@quyp.com with the subject "Account deletion request", or
- use the account deletion option in Settings when it is available in your dashboard.
We confirm the request by email and complete the deletion within 30 days. Billing records that we must keep under tax and accounting law are retained for the legally required period only. Backups are rotated within 90 days.
4. Requests received from platforms
If you remove QUYP from a Meta product (Instagram, Threads, Facebook) using the platform's "Remove" or "Delete your data" option, Meta notifies us and we delete the data tied to that platform account automatically. The same applies to deauthorization notices from other platforms that provide them.
